Bassist Mark Poniatowski holds a Bachelor of Music Degree from Berklee College of Music and a Master of Music from New England Conservatory. His extensive performing experience includes Bruce Katz Band, Kenny Hadley Big Band, Soul Kitchen, and Yukie Aramos Trio. He toured in Europe and performed with Electric Youth in 1998, 2000, 2003 and 2005. His recordings include Mississippi Moan, Something Like That, It’s About the Blues, Radio Fusion Radio, and More Than Live. Mark’s instructors include Cecil McBee, John Clayton Jr., John Repucci, and Whit Brown. He is affiliated with the International Society of Bassists. Mark is currently an Associate Professor of Contemporary Writing and Production at Berklee College of Music in Boston.
